Our annual “signature” event.

Giuliani Sinfonia for Mandolin and Orchestra, August Watters, Mandolin
Carols and refreshments follow the performance

Handel's Messiah is one of the most beloved and familiar choral pieces in the repertory, and as such is often performed without a lot of preparation. That isn't the case at NECS: under the meticulous David Hodgkins, the choir, orchestra, and soloists bring out every phrase and nuance of this masterful work. Hear it again as though for the first time!

Our soloists this year are Charlotte Dobbs, Soprano, Krista River, Mezzo Soprano, Jason McStoots, Tenor, and Thomas Jones, Bass.

"Minus the tent and pulpit, Merrimack College's Rogers Center for the Arts last night felt more like an old-time revival meeting than a concert hall..." Read the full Eagle-Tribune review
